The 1st Annual Islesford Boatworks Open House Gala and Boat Auction

On August 16, 2006 we opened up the barn for the 1st Annual IB Open House Gala and Boat Auction. We invited everybody from the Island and its surrounding communities to come see the work our kids had been doing... and to bid on oars, a lobster platter, a beautiful Ashley Bryan print, and even The Boat! The turnout (as well as the hors d'oeuvre selection) was great, and the night was a grand success. Frank Newlin had the winning bid on the boat and named it (perfectly) Class Work. We had a great time, and can't wait for next year's Gala.
