Week 3

Another exciting week at the IB! The boat has really started looking like a boat. This week, we resawed, jointed, planed, and attached the boat's inner bottom. We sawed, shaped, planed, and attached the first two planks (the port and starboard garboards). We continued our "journalism". We began varnishing our first set of finished oars. We sanded the bottom till it was smooth as a baby's... well, you get the idea.
