Week 5

Holy Moly What a Tremendous Week! The kids shaped, planed, and attached the port and starboard sheer planks (the top pair). This is very exciting, as it means we're within a week of flipping the boat to work on the inside. The kids also continued splicing, and got into the bat house business. (Furthermore, we all learned that a bat can kill up to 400 mosquitos per night.) Power sanding was done on the mast and the second set of oars. We also made signs for the IB table at the Islesford Fair -- which was AWESOME.
